In order to serve you better we have put together a list of frequently asked customer questions. If you don’t see your question listed below, please feel free to click the little gold text bubble at the bottom left corner of the screen so a store associate can assist you!

Loch Jewelers offers a full lifetime guarantee on our craftsmanship. After the first year we ask that you bring your jewelry back into Loch Jewelers every six months for inspection in order to validate the warranty and keep it in effect. All gems are guaranteed against loss from their mounting and will be replaced free of charge unless the loss of the gems is due to misuse, natural wear or the wearer exposing it to iodine, chlorine, fluorine, and/or bromine.

All silver jewelry has a 30-day warranty.

Any single diamond purchased from Loch Jewelers of 1/4ct or larger may be traded in for credit for the original purchase price on any future single diamond purchase upon meeting the following conditions:
1) The diamond must be in the same condition as at the time of purchase and be accompanied by any report and/or certification.
2) The new diamond must be at least 1/2ct or larger, and/or equal or higher in clarity and color.

Exchanges are permitted within 30 days from the original purchase date by the original client when accompanied with the sales slip. The item must be unused and unworn, in original condition, and in the original gift box with all warranty cards and explanation booklets intact.

Special orders, completed layaways, modified and/or custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. Gift recipients will be issued merchandise credit only. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. No cash refunds will be issued after 10 days. Any credit remaining after the exchange will be issued as a credit on the original purchaser’s account to be used for future in store purchases only.

Appraisals are needed to have your jewelry insured. At Loch Jewelers we have three GIA Certified Diamond Graders on staff to identify your jewelry based on the materials, workmanship, and any other elements affecting its value. We do appraise pearls as well. Read more here.

All of the personalized jewelry services offered at Loch Jewelers are completed on-site for your convenience. Most jewelry items can be personalized, including rings, bracelets, watches, and necklaces. Loch Jewelers is able to engrave on a variety of materials such as gold, silver, glass, and wood. Most items can be put on layaway with a down payment and continual monthly payments.

Almost all white gold jewelry is rhodium finished and will wear off over time turning the piece yellow. To restore your jewelry item to it’s former glory you will need to have it Rhodium plated. Rhodium gives white gold jewelry a bright white finish because it is electroplated over the white gold jewelry.

Loch Jewelers offers full-service watch repair with an in-house studio. Our master watchmakers have a combined 80+ years of experience and will carefully and skillfully work with your precious timepiece. With everything handled in-house, your timepiece will never leave our hands and will be done in a timely manner. Read more here.

Loch Jewelers will clean your jewelry and check the settings free of charge. We recommend this be done at least every six months.

With your engagement ring purchase you will receive:
1) One free ring sizing to make sure that the ring fits comfortably on your finger.
2) An accompanying appraisal for insurance purposes.
3) A warranty on our craftsmanship should anything happen within the first year. See warranty card for details.
4) Free annual rhodium plating on white gold/two-tone rings.
